Maria Soklis was named President, Cox Automotive Canada in June 2015
Maria leads the development and execution of Cox Automotive’s Canadian business strategy and operations. She has responsibility for the existing Manheim Canada and Dealertrack businesses and overlooks the strategic introduction of Cox Automotive businesses to the market. Under Maria’s leadership, Cox has developed the foundation to meet both the immediate and future needs of clients as it relates to products and services that span the automotive ecosystem.
Prior to joining Cox Automotive Canada, Maria held the role of Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Kia Canada Inc., where she led a team of 169 corporate staff, including 4 Regional offices, a parts warehouse and oversaw 184 Kia dealerships nationally. Maria was the highest ranking female executive at Kia Motors globally and in 2008, proudly accepted the Kia Motors Corporation award for Kia Global Subsidiary of the Year.
Maria pioneered Kia Canada’s Corporate Social Responsibility platform and was the driving force behind Kia Canada’s “Drive Change” campaign to encourage employees, dealers and corporate partners to make a positive difference in their local communities.
